You were perfect in that role. The stage was set for all to see. It’s no surprise that you would be. It all makes sense, the things we say. And the promises we make. Will keep us happy in our place. We made out in front of them all. We were planning for the fall. There’s something sad about a sunny day. But it won’t follow us today. There’s something right about a grave mistake. But it won’t follow us today. I’d like to know. If the smoke down by the river. Will leave its traces in this picture. We wrote the words. Under cedar boards we said it. The story reads just like we planned it.
